Why the Memory Joggers System is So Successful
Donnalyn Yates, M.Ed., has spent many years researching how the brain stores information and why many children have difficulty memorizing. Early in her teaching career, Yates realized that children were not being given tools to help them memorize.
She realized that it is very difficult to memorize by rote and certainly not fun. Children were bored, and unable to memorize math facts. Students at all grade levels were relying on finger counting and other tedious and inaccurate methods to find solutions.
Yates decided it was time to put her extensive research on memorization to the test.
The Memory Joggers system was carefully developed, taking into consideration all the components necessary to help children memorize. Upon completion, the system was classroom tested extensively. Teachers loved it! It worked!
The demand for the product prompted Yates to begin speaking at teacher seminars and national conventions across the country and marketing her products and books to parents and teachers alike. Memory Joggers products reach all children, including students with learning disabilities, lack of self-confidence, or second language learners.
